⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful dining experience at this Italian restaurant. The Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, the garlic bread was exceptionally fresh and delicious, and the pasta was perfectly creamy and full of rich flavor. The service was outstanding attentive, professional, and courteous throughout the entire meal. We found ourselves in the middle of nowhere, where everything was at least a 30-minute drive away. A quick Google search led us to Millie’s Italian Restaurant in Celina, just 14 minutes away, and since they had pizza on the menu, it was an easy choice. At first, we assumed it was just a takeout spot, but to our surprise, it had seating, and the kids were eager to dine in. The restaurant offers a full menu, covering everything from appetizers to hearty lunch and dinner options. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, starting us off with garlic knots—warm, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Even though I wasn’t particularly hungry, I had to try one, and I’m glad I did! Having grown up in New York and experienced countless Italian restaurants, I’ve found it challenging to discover that true, homestyle Italian flavor in Dallas. But Millie’s proved me wrong! We ordered a half-cheese, half-vegetable pizza, and the flavors were spot on—authentic and satisfying. My husband opted for the soup of the day, which was perfectly seasoned and rich in flavor. Beyond the food, what made our visit even more special was the nostalgic decor featuring iconic New York City buildings. Hands down …. The BEST Italian restaurant North of Campisies’s Mockingbird. You can taste the love in every bite, the garlic knots fall apart in your mouth. Their family pics on the walls are so cool & Millie / her sister are beautiful!!!!
Such a homey and clean mom and pop establishment with amazing quality food. I got the shrimp alfredo and we know alfredo is a hit or miss at all restaurants but its been a long time since I've had a good alfredo until I came here. The shrimp was cooked perfect and the service was quick and kind. Want more people to experience the homey vibes of this place while enjoying good food.
Our new go to pizza place. Love the Canadian bacon & pineapple pizza and the combination pizza (Millie’s special). The toppings taste fresh and the crust is a crunchy yet chewy balance that’s amazing! Both done in and take out are great! It also freezes and reheats very well using the stovetop skillet method. So we often order extra to throw in the freezer for emergency lunches.
This is a quaint little Italian bistro that has a good selection of Italian comfort foods made to order. The taste and presentation were wonderful and considering the size of the restaurant the put a lot of care into their customer service. We enjoyed our selections and found the wait staff super helpful narrowing down our tastes. The garlic knots were exquisite and I took them home. When I heated up my leftovers (the portions are large enough to satisfy and have some for tomorrow) they were just as good if not better than the day before. I highly recommend this fine establishment, they may be 7 months old but they are doing the work of a pro place that has been around for a decade.
This was our first time eating here and we were immediately greeted and had drinks served to us within 5 minutes. The owner even came over to talk with us and suggest some items based on what we were craving. She was super sweet! Our wait staff was also so friendly and never let our drinks get halfway without taking care of it. 10/10 recommended this place. Food was SO good, we got the fettuccine Alfredo and the chicken festival. We also got a complimentary roll basket with our meal. We ended it with a cannoli. Come check them out!!
